Albun Notes
Human League Greatest Hits is a compilation album released by British synthpop band The Human League. It was released by Virgin Records in 1988 and contained 13 singles released by the band, spanning from their debut single (1978's "Being Boiled") to their most recent album at the time (Crash, 1986) plus Philip Oakey's collaboration with Giorgio Moroder "Together In Electric Dreams". The album reached no.3 in the UK.

In November 1995, to cash in on the band's renewed success at that time, Virgin repackaged the hits collection with a new cover and added newer tracks: "Tell Me When" (from the Octopus album) and a new remix of the band's biggest hit "Don't You Want Me" by German-American electronic music group Snap!. In addition to this, a brand new track, "Stay with Me Tonight", was included which the band had recorded under their new recording contract with EastWest Records. This would later be released as a single.

Review by JT Griffith
Fans of the Human League's American hits "Don't You Want Me" and "Human" will find this (and any of the band's many similarly titled compilations) a little perplexing. The bulk of the set are U.K. hits, which are somewhat of an acquired taste, and different from the group's fun, pop new wave stylings. "Open Your Heart," "Love Is All That Matters," and "The Sound of the Crowd" are early efforts that sound much more dated than their biggest hits. Overall, it is an essential purchase if you want to revisit or discover the Human League, but some of the lesser known songs, like "The Lebanon," will be surprisingly different. --- allmusic.com

"Don't You Want Me" is a song by British synthpop group The Human League, released as a single from the album Dare in November 1981. It is the band's best known and most commercially successful recording to date and has sold over 1,400,000 copies, making it the 25th most successful single of all time in the UK. The song has been covered multiple times, most notably by Alcazar.
The lyrics were originally inspired after lead singer Philip Oakey read a story in a "trashy tabloid". Originally conceived as a male solo, Oakey was inspired by the film A Star Is Born and decided to turn the song into a conflicting duet with one of the band’s two teenage female vocalists. Susan Ann Sulley was asked to take on the role. Up until then, she and the other female vocalist Joanne Catherall had only been assigned backing vocals; Sulley says she was chosen only through luck of the draw. There are two more realistic explanations: that Sulley was the better singer and/or that Catherall, more introverted, shied away from the role. Musicians Jo Callis and Philip Adrian Wright created a synthesizer score to accompany the lyrics which was much harsher than the version that was actually released. Initial versions of the song were recorded but Virgin Records-appointed producer Martin Rushent was unhappy with them. He and Callis remixed the track, giving it a softer, and in Oakey's opinion, "poppy" sound. Oakey hated the new version and thought it the weakest track on Dare, resulting in one of his infamous rows with Rushent. Oakey disliked it so much that it was relegated to the last track on the album.
Before the release of Dare, two of its tracks—"The Sound of the Crowd" and "Love Action (I Believe in Love)"—had already been issued as successful singles. To promote the new album, Virgin released "Open Your Heart" in October 1981, which hit #6 in the UK Singles Chart. With a hit album and three hit singles in a row, Virgin's Simon Draper decided to issue one more single from the album before the end of 1981. His choice, "Don't You Want Me", instantly caused a row with Oakey who did not want another single released because he was convinced that "the public were now sick of hearing The Human League" and the choice of the "poor quality filler track" would almost certainly be a disaster, wrecking the group's new found popularity. Virgin were adamant that a fourth single would be released and Oakey finally agreed on the condition that a large colour poster accompany the 7" single, because he felt fans would "feel ripped off" by the 'substandard' single alone.
"Don't You Want Me" was released in the UK on 27 November 1981. To the amazement of the band (and especially Oakey), it shot to number one on the UK charts. This success was repeated six months later in the U.S., with "Don't You Want Me" hitting #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks. Billboard magazine ranked it as the sixth-biggest hit of 1982.
The Human League often added cryptic references to their productions and the record sleeve of “Don’t You Want Me” featured the suffix of “100”. This was a reference to a restaurant/bar in Sheffield.
Today, the song is widely considered a classic of its era. Oakey still describes it as overrated but acknowledges his initial dismissal was misguided and claims pride in the track. Susan Sulley is often irritated that she constantly has to refute the mistaken assumption that the song is a reference to her and Catherall. At only 17 years old when the song was recorded, she was legally too young by UK law to have been a cocktail waitress and was, in fact, still at school. Oakey is also at pains to point out another misconception that it is not a love song but "a nasty song about sexual power politics".
The song was remixed and re-released in 1995, peaking at #16 on the UK chart.

"Together in Electric Dreams" is a song by the British singer and composer Philip Oakey and producer Giorgio Moroder. It was written by Oakey and Moroder and recorded for the original soundtrack of the 1984 film Electric Dreams.
It later formed part of the joint album Philip Oakey & Giorgio Moroder, released in 1985. Released as a single in the UK in September 1984 it proved a major commercial success, actually eclipsing the original film it was intended to promote. It reached Number three in the UK Singles Chart, staying in the charts for 13 weeks. It would prove to be the only hit of the brief Oakey/Moroder partnership. It was finally released as a single in the United States in 1988.
The Human League are a British synthpop band of which Philip Oakey is the lead singer and the role for which he is best known, although he has worked on numerous other projects. "Together in Electric Dreams" was released at the height of the Human League's international fame and success. The song style broadly mimics the Human League's traditional sound. Because it was sung by Oakey and was a hit at the same time as the Human League's highest profile, it quickly became closely associated with the band. It would go on to become a bigger hit than some actual Human League singles of the same period. Often it is erroneously credited as a Human League single. Because of its close association with the band and its popularity it was included in their various Greatest Hits compilation albums released later.
Although the Human League have never recorded their own version, due to the song's popularity the band frequently play a unique Human League version when they perform live, often as an encore. The Human League version differs considerably from the original in that it has a longer more dramatic intro and the female backing vocals by Susan Ann Sulley and Joanne Catherall are now as prominent as Oakey's lead.

Biography:

Simply Red are an English pop band, formed in the mid 1980s.
Simply Red’s roots originate from the notorious 1976 Sex Pistols gig at the Lesser Free Trade Hall in Manchester. Manchester art student Mick Hucknall was one of the many young music fans present (along with original members of The Fall, Joy Division, The Smiths and Buzzcocks) who was inspired to form a band after witnessing that gig. The first incarnation of the band was a punk group called The Frantic Elevators. This band existed for 7 years, with limited releases on local labels, but split in 1984 with only limited local attention and critical acclaim for their final single, “Holding Back the Years”.
After the demise of The Frantic Elevators, Hucknall linked up with manager Elliot Rashman. By early 1985 Hucknall and Rashman had assembled a band of local session musicians and began to attract record company attention. Around this time the group adopted the name Simply Red (after Hucknall’s nickname, which denoted hair color, football allegiance to Manchester United and left-wing political affiliation). They signed to Elektra in 1985, with the somewhat changeable line-up of Hucknall, Tony Bowers (bass), Fritz McIntyre (keyboards), Tim Kellett (brass), Sylvan Richardson (guitar) and Chris Joyce (drums). Their first single, released in 1985, was “Money’s Too Tight (To Mention)”, a cover of a soul standard originally recorded by The Valentine Brothers. This single had moderate success, reaching the UK Top 20.
In 1986 the band re-recorded “Holding Back The Years”, The Frantic Elevators’ biggest hit, in a more accessible pop style, which was a major hit, peaking at #2 in Great Britain and later #1 in the United States, establishing Simply Red as a household name. Their debut album, Picture Book, which had been released previously in 1985, began to sell more copies, and became an international hit album.
Their second album, 1987’s “Men and Women” saw the band adopting a more sober and professional image, with bowler hats and colorful suits replacing their earlier ragamuffin look, and the introspection and social commentary of their debut replaced by a blue-eyed soul sound with funk influences. Around this time Hucknall became a tabloid personality, drawing attention and criticism for his alleged womanising, and gaining a reputation as “a lecherous loudmouth” and bien pensant. Despite Hucknall’s bad reputation and the album’s bad reviews, or perhaps as a result of them, Men and Women was a commercial success.
With their third album “A New Flame”, Simply Red adopted a yet more mainstream populist sound aimed for commercial rather than critical success, typified by their cover of Harold Melvin’s pop classic “If You Don’t Know Me By Now”, which became their second U.S. #1 hit and one of the biggest singles of the year internationally. Hucknall was by this time an international superstar, being photographed with models and Hollywood celebrities. This seemed to harm the band’s coherence as a unit, with Hucknall declaring in 1991 that Simply Red was “essentially a solo project”.
The band’s popular career peaked later that year with the release of “Stars”, which became the best-selling album for two years running in Europe and the UK (though notably had far less success in the US than their previous albums). “Stars” mixed Hucknall’s anti-Thatcherite political lyrics with an easy-listening lounge-jazz sound, apparently to avoid alienation of their existing fanbase.
After touring and promoting “Stars” for two years, Simply Red returned in 1995 with “Fairground”, a dance-influenced track featuring prominently a sample from Zki & Dobri’s Goodmen project. A massive radio hit, “Fairground” went on to become the band’s first British #1, amid critical panning. Its parent album Life sold more than a million copies in the UK alone, making it the fourth-biggest seller of the year. The band followed this up with cover heavy Blue in 1998 and Love and the Russian Winter. After Love and the Russian Winter they left EastWest and Hucknall set up his own record label simplyred.com where he released “Home” in 2003, a mixture of mostly original songs and covers, including a version of The Stylistics song “You Make Me Feel Brand New”. “Simplified” followed in 2005, mainly an album of stripped down versions of their Classic hits.
The single “Oh! What A Girl!” released in September 2006 from their album Stay, their 10th, released on 12 March 2007. This was preceded by the single “So Not Over You”, released on 5 March 2007. The third single from the album was the title song “Stay”, released on 28 May 2007. The fourth and the last single of Simply Red single , “The World And You Tonight”, was released in November 2007.
Mick Hucknall announced that the band were due to split in 2009, after a farewell tour.
”I’ve kind of decided that the 25 years is going to be enough, so I intend that the 2009 will be the last Simply Red tour.”
“I’ve just recorded an album that is a tribute to Bobby Bland, a blues and R’n’B artist. It’s a solo project and I’ve really enjoyed it so much that I feel the time has come now to just put a book-end to the story and the album Stay will be the last Simply Red studio album.”

Album Notes:

Stars is the fourth album by UK pop/soul/jazz band Simply Red, released in September 1991. It included the singles "Stars" (UK #8), "For Your Babies" (UK #9), "Something Got Me Started" (UK #11), "Your Mirror" (UK #17) and "Thrill Me" (UK #33). It was another #1 album for the group in their native UK.
"The Stars" tour took the band around the world for nearly two years.
It is considered by many to be their finest work and the last of their early albums, in 2000 Q magazine placed Stars at number 80 in its list of the 100 Greatest British Albums Ever.
This album was re-issued in 2008 as a Collectors Edition: 2cd: Bonus Dvd: Digipack.
On 20 April 2008, a copy of the album was given away with the British newspaper the Mail on Sunday.

America is an English-American folk rock musical band, composed originally of members Gerry Beckley, Dewey Bunnell, and Dan Peek. The three members were barely past their teenage years when they became a musical sensation during 1972, with their main popularity during the early to mid 1970s and early 1980s. Some of the band's best known songs are "A Horse with No Name", "Sister Golden Hair" (both of which reached #1), "Ventura Highway", "Tin Man", and "Lonely People".
Although their music was derided frequently by critics, the band's singles and albums were very successful commercially. They were popular enough to attract the services of famed Beatles producer George Martin for a series of seven albums. The band survived Peek quitting near its apex long enough to see Beckley and Bunnell return the act to the top 10 as a duo with "You Can Do Magic" in 1982. Touring for almost four decades, America maintains fans and performs over 100 shows per year. On January 16, 2007, America released Here & Now, the band's first major label studio album in over twenty years. Wikipedia

Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) is the second album by British music duo Eurythmics, released on January 21, 1983.

After almost two years of initial commercial failure for Eurythmics, this album became a commercial breakthrough for the duo on both sides of the Atlantic. The title track became particularly popular and it remains one of Eurythmics' most recognisable songs, and its music video, popular on MTV in the United States, is memorable for Annie Lennox's gender-bending imagery. In the wake of this success, the single "Love is a Stranger", previously a flop, was rereleased and became a hit as well. It too was accompanied by a striking video, which featured Lennox dressed both as a man and a woman.
Dave Stewart, together with Robert Crash and ex-The Selector bassist Adam Williams, produced the album in Eurythmics' own relatively primitive 8-track studio, winning awards for the quality of the end-result which belied its low-budget origins. Sweet Dreams saw the duo move away from the psychedelic, guitar-tinged band-orientated sound of their 1981 debut album In the Garden, instead focusing on raw analogue synthesizers (including the Oberheim OB1 and EDP Wasp) and drum machines (particularly the Movement Systems Drum Computer, which featured a graphic visual display of the drum patterns). Whilst the "synth pop" genre had grown in popularity in the preceding years, it was often associated with all male groups and somewhat clinical, emotionless music. Eurythmics (particularly with Lennox's vocal stylings) brought a soul music twist to the electronic sound, which proved popular with broader audiences.

General Info:
F.R.David (real name: Elli Robert Fitoussi, often also credited as Robert Fitoussie) is one of the now classic HI-ENERGY artists of early 80s.
This French artist born in January 01, 1947 in Menzel Bourguiba (Tunis), and currently living in Paris (near St Germain des Prés) released many songs in pre-MODERN TALKING era. His personal "trademarks" are his sunglasses and his guitar (a white Fender Stratocaster). Many of us think of F.R. David as the singer of his smash hit Words, which sold 8 millions records accross the world, topped charts around Europe in late 1982 and hit No 2 in Britain in spring '83. Its eventual UK success was caused by its exposure on BBC TV's Top Of The Pops. The disc was featured on the first edition of a special Euro-slot incorporated in the program. The song was a catchy, slightly plaintive mid-tempo ballad sung in a slender, high-pitched voice. Indeed, such was Monsieur David's singing style that radio listeners all over Europe thought the single was by Madame David until seeing him. His voice resembles voice of Thomas Anders from late MODERN TALKING. Actually, F.R. David had several songs that became acclaimed hits. Another Mega Hit by him "I Need You". has been done in similar style as "Words". Speaking of "Words", this track was remixed in 1991 and released as MAXI-CD on MINT Records (Index # 879-701). This Maxi CD had three remixes with updated sound to Italian House. They were good but in my opinion the original sound was better. In 1997 "Words" was re-released in progressive genre.
Many of you don't really know the rest of the carrer of this French singer, songwriter musician who started in the 70's playing guitar for Vangelis in concerts and on his records. In fact F.R. David recorded with VANGELIS an album called Earth back in 1972 just before the album Les Variations. He later became the leading singer in the group VARIATION which is one of these rare French groups to be successfully exported around the world in the history of Rock.
This is the era of the giant stages and stadions where he performed side by side with all legends of Rock and Roll. VARIATIONS got separated and F.R. David stayed in the USA for 5 years where he worked on albums with groups like: THE DOOBY BROTHERS, THE O.J.'s, RICHIE EVANS, TOTO and many others. He also recorded his album King Of Hearts produced by David Kreps. He returned to France to learn that his "Words" songs has become number 1 on charts in 10 countries in Europe and Japan. This was the beginning of 15 months of promotion and travelling around and it all started all over again.
F.R. David's music is a classical Hi-Energy, usually at around 119-125 BPM. He had also very slow tracks on SLEAZY ENERGY edge. The best examples are "Music", "Take Me Back". He also recorded faster songs in more Italian HI-ENERGY style. The best example is "Pick Up The Phone" (upbeat 155 BPM). One of the articles described how members of a very popular in mid 80's German Hi-Energy group MODERN TALKING; Dieter Bohlen and Thomas Anders met each other : The studio called Dieter to produce the newest single for a new Schlager-talent; Thomas Anders. The single was a German translation of FR David's "Pick up the phone !" It seems that F.R. David's style had an influence on this group, since they represented quite similar sound, at least at early stage.
In 1986 F.R. David signed with CBS and recorded his "Sahara Night" a fusion of all the music that has influenced this unusual singer songwriter. In 1987 He recorded a new album REFLECTIONS that was played in the radio all over Europe and Asia. The song "Don't Go became a superb vidoe clip directed by Kosta Kekemenis. In 1993 he released a title I'll Try To Love Again" and in 1994 a rock album produced by J.P. Grosz (producer of Ray Charles). And finally in 1996-1997 he was visiting New York based Hit Factory where he recorded I'm Not In Love".
He says about himself: I am not hard headed and I am not a "made artist". That is probably the reason why he doesn't make new singles very often however he indeed have already several of them that are waiting to be released at the right time. His new work involves some classical pieces with LONDON SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA.
On May 28, 1999 F.R. David releases single "Words - 1999" featuring this original track as well as 1999 version. This single preceeds his new album called "F.R. DAVID - '99 VERSION to be released in France in the beginning of June 1999. There are plans to release this album also in other European countries.

Album Notes:
80's new-wave pop superstar F.R. David returns with a fantastic new album!

Rudolf Schenker, the band’s rhythm guitarist, set out to find a band in 1965. At first, the band was school-kind with beat influences and Schenker himself on vocals. Things began to come together in 1969 when Schenker’s younger brother Michael and vocalist Klaus Meine joined the band. In 1972 the group recorded and released their debut album Lonesome Crow with Lothar Heimberg on bass and Wolfgang Dziony on drums. During the Lonesome Crow tour, Scorpions opened for upcoming British band UFO. At the end of the tour the members of UFO offered guitarist Michael Schenker the lead guitar job; an offer which he soon accepted. Uli Roth was then called in temporarily to finish off the tour.
The departure of Michael Schenker led to the break up of the Scorpions. In 1973, guitarist Uli Roth, a friend of the Schenker brothers, was in a band called Dawn Road. He had been offered the role as lead guitarist in Scorpions after Michael Schenker’s departure but turned the band down. Rudolf decided that he wanted to work with Roth but did not want to resurrect the last Scorpions lineup.
Rudolf Schenker attended some of Dawn Road’s rehearsals and ultimately decided to join the band, which consisted of Roth, Francis Buchholz (bass), Achim Kirschning (keyboard) and Jurgen Rosenthal (drums). Roth persuaded Rudolf Schenker to invite Klaus Meine to join, which he did soon after. While there were more members of Dawn Road than Scorpions in the band, they decided to use the Scorpions name because they had released an album and were known in the German hard rock scene.
Rise to popularity (1974-1978)
In 1974 the new line-up of Scorpions released Fly to the Rainbow. The album proved to be more successful than Lonesome Crow and songs such as “Speedy’s Coming” and the title track began to establish the band’s sound. Achim Kirschning decided to leave after the recordings but subsequently guested on keyboards for the next two albums. Soon after, Jürgen Rosenthal had to leave as he was being drafted into the army, and was replaced by a Belgian drummer, Rudy Lenners. He later joined German progressive rock band called Eloy in 1976 and recorded three albums with them. It wasn’t until the following year that the band hit their stride with the release of In Trance. In Trance marked the beginning of Scorpions’ long collaboration with German producer Dieter Dierks. The album was a huge step forward for Scorpions and firmly established their hard rock formula, while at the same time garnering a substantial fan base, both at home and abroad.
In 1976, Scorpions released Virgin Killer. The album’s cover, which featured a fully nude prepubescent girl, brought the band considerable criticism and was ultimately pulled or replaced in several countries. In spite of the controversy - lead singer Klaus Meine even expressed shock - the album garnered significant praise from critics and fans alike. The following year, Rudy Lenners resigned due to health reasons and was replaced by Herman Rarebell.
The follow-up to Virgin Killer, Taken by Force, was the first Scorpions record to be aggressively promoted in the United States. The album’s single, “Steamrock Fever”, was added to some of RCA’s radio promotional records. Roth was not happy with the label’s efforts and the commercial direction the band was taking. Although he performed on the band’s Japan tour, he departed to form his own band, Electric Sun prior to the release of the resultant double live album Tokyo Tapes. Tokyo Tapes was released in the US and Europe six months after its Japanese release. By that time in mid 1978, Scorpions recruited new guitarist Matthias Jabs.
Commercial success (1979-1990)
Following the addition of Jabs, Scorpions left RCA for Mercury Records to record their next album. Just weeks after being evicted from UFO for his alcohol abuse, Michael Schenker also returned to the group for a short period during the recordings of the album. The result was Lovedrive. Containing such fan favorites as “Loving You Sunday Morning”, “Holiday” and the instrumental “Coast to Coast”, the “Scorpions formula” of hard rock songs mixed in with melodic ballads was firmly cemented. Lovedrive peaked at #55 on the US charts proving that Scorpions were gathering an international following. After the completion and release of the album, the band decided to retain Michael in the band, thus forcing Matthias Jabs to leave. But after a few weeks of the tour, Michael, still coping with alcoholism, kept missing a few gigs and Matthias Jabs was brought back to fill in for him on those occasions when he couldn’t perform. In April 1979, during their tour in France, Matthias Jabs was brought in permanently to replace Michael Schenker.
In 1980, the band released Animal Magnetism, again with a provocative cover showing a girl kneeling in front of a man’s crotch. While Animal Magnetism contained classics such as “The Zoo” and “Make It Real”, it was a critical disappointment when compared with Lovedrive.
The band then began working on their next album. Blackout was released in 1982 and quickly became the band’s best selling to date, eventually going platinum. Blackout spawned three hit singles: “Dynamite,” “Blackout” and “No One Like You”.
It was not until 1984 and the release of Love at First Sting that the band finally cemented their status as rock superstars. Propelled by the single “Rock You Like a Hurricane”, Love at First Sting went up the charts and went double platinum a few months after its release. MTV gave the album’s videos “Rock You Like a Hurricane”, “Bad Boys Running Wild”, “Big City Nights”, and the power ballad “Still Loving You” significant airtime, greatly contributing to the album’s success.
The band toured extensively behind Love at First Sting and decided to record and release their second live album, World Wide Live. Recorded over a year long period and released at the height of their popularity, the album was another success for the band, peaking at #17 on the charts.
After their extensive world tours, the band finally returned to the studio to record Savage Amusement. Released in 1988, four years after their previous studio album, Savage Amusement represented a more polished pop sound similar to the style Def Leppard had found success with.
On the Savage Amusement tour in ‘88, Scorpions became only the second Western group to play in the Soviet Union (the first being Uriah Heep in December 1987), with a performance in Leningrad. The following year the band returned to perform at the Moscow Music Peace Festival.
Wishing to distance themselves from the Savage Amusement style, the band separated from their long-time producer and “Sixth Scorpion,” Dieter Dierks, ultimately replacing him with Keith Olsen when they returned to the studio in 1990. Crazy World was released that same year and displayed a less polished sound. The album was a hit, propelled in large part by the massive success of the ballad “Wind of Change”.
Later days (1991-present)
After the release of Crazy World Francis Buchholz, the band’s long-serving bassist, left the group. Replacing him was Ralph Rieckermann who handled bass duties until 2002.
In 1993 Scorpions released Face the Heat. For the recording process, Scorpions brought in producer Bruce Fairbairn. The album’s sound was more metallic than melodic. Face the Heat was a moderate success.
In 1995, a new live album, Live Bites, was produced. The disc documented live performances from their Savage Amusement Tour in 1988, all the way through the Face the Heat Tour in 1994. While the album had a much cleaner sound in comparison to their best-selling live album, World Wide Live, it was not as successful.
Prior to recording their 13th studio album, 1996’s Pure Instinct, drummer Herman Rarebell left the band to set up a recording company. Curt Cress and Pitty Hecht took charge of the drumsticks for the album before James Kottak took over permanently.
1999 saw the release of Eye II Eye and a significant change in the band’s style, mixing in elements of pop and techno. While the album was slickly produced, fans were unsure what to make of the band, responding negatively to almost everything from pop-soul backup singers to the electronic drums present on several songs. The video to the album’s first European single, “To Be No. 1”, featured a Monica Lewinsky lookalike which did little to improve its popularity.
The following year Scorpions had a fairly successful collaboration with the Berlin Philharmonic that resulted in a 10-song album named Moment of Glory. The album went a long way towards rebuilding the band’s reputation after the harsh criticism of Eye II Eye.
In 2001, Scorpions released Acoustica, a live unplugged album featuring acoustic reworkings of the band’s biggest hits, plus new tracks. While appreciated by fans, the lack of a new studio album was frustrating to some, and Acoustica did little to return the band to the spotlight.
In 2004, the band released Unbreakable, an album that was hailed by critics as a long awaited return to form. The album was the heaviest the band had released since Face the Heat, and fans responded well to tracks such as “New Generation”, “Love ‘em or Leave ‘em” and “Deep and Dark”. Whether a result of poor promotion by the band’s label or the long time between studio releases, Unbreakable received little airplay and did not chart. Scorpions toured extensively behind the album, and played as special guests with Judas Priest during the 2005 British tour.
In early 2006, Scorpions released the DVD 1 Night in Vienna that included 14 live tracks and a complete rockumentary.
In May of 2007, Scorpions released Humanity - Hour 1 in Europe. Humanity - Hour 1 became available in the U.S. on August 28, 2007 on New Door Records, entering the Billboard charts at number #63.
