With this simple announcement page on Facebook station at 22:32, the founder and owner of Star FM, Akis Touronis, announced the end of the historic radio station of Thessaloniki. Farewell followed «Who wants to Live forever» by Queen and «All good things (come to an end)». Around midnight came the final «THE END», the transmitter of 97.1 by Hortiati playing carrier wave, the site and the live streaming of the station came out.

The collection “The Trip (1989-1999)” was released in 1999 and was the seventh collection that released by the popular radio station StarFM for the ten years of operation.

Preceded the collections “Treasures“, “More Treasures“, “Even More Treasures“, “And The Treasures Never End“, “The Final Star FM Treasures” and “Love Stars“.
